Vertical Photo Album is an Apple TV app that shows the portrait photos in the Apple TV's photo library on a vertically mounted screen. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Only when you allow it, the app reads the Apple TV's photo library (iCloud Photos of the current user profile) to display it. Photos are shown on the device only; they are never sent or copied to the developer's or any third party's servers. You can turn photo access off at any time in the Apple TV's Settings › Apps › Vertical Photo Album.
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising identifiers, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs.
When a photo contains the location where it was taken, the app converts those coordinates into a place name (such as a city) using Apple's geocoding service, through a feature of Apple's operating system that is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer never receives or stores this information. Turning off "Date and place" in Settings stops these lookups.
Only your preferences (screen rotation, photo selection, slide interval and similar settings) are stored on the Apple TV. They never leave the device and are removed when the app is deleted.
